michelle pashI offer non-denominational wedding ceremonies, renewal of vows, and commitment ceremonies. I feel that it is an honor to be a part of the celebration of a couple's love for one another. Seeing and feeling their love as they begin a whole new life together is very fulfilling.
your ceremony your wayThe wording of the ceremony is a very important part of your wedding. It should reflect your thoughts and feelings about marriage and the love you have for each other. You can choose from several existing ceremonies, write your own, or we can work together to create a ceremony that's right for you. It can be as simple or elaborate as you like. I will perform the ceremony anywhere you like - your home or yard, your favorite park, a chapel, etc. I would love to meet with you to discuss your special day and answer any questions you may have. For more information please contact Michelle at michelle@healandrelax.com or 360-263-1306.

before you tie the knot - evaluateThough I do not provide nor require counseling before performing a ceremony, there are some things you should think carefully about. Enjoy. Do you enjoy the same things? Maybe it's no big deal now, but later it could be. Values. Are you able to agree on child raising, finances, in-laws, goals, and your spirituality? These can be make or break issues! Accessibility. Are you both emotionally accessible? Do you communicate well? Love. Do you really love each other? Not the TV/Movie version, but the kind that: listens to your partner's opinions and concerns? Accepts them as they are right now? Values them? Supports them? Expresses itself through kindness? Understanding. You won't agree on everything, but can you understand and handle each other's point of view? Appreciation. Do you make a habit of expressing your appreciation for your partner? Does your partner make a habit of expressing his/her appreciation for you? Temperament. Are your personalities compatible? Environment. If you're from different backgrounds, are you comfortable in the same spiritual and social settings? |
