 Appointment Policies

A bodywork appointment with Michelle Pash, LMP, CR is viewed as a commitment and connection between the therapist/practitioner and the client.  In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, I have adopted the following policies:

Appointments:
Appointment hours are Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm and Saturday from 10am to 2pm.  Two locations are offered for your convenience – La Center and downtown Vancouver.  Appointments are available in La Center on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays; and in Vancouver on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment to relax and unwind from your busy day and drive in.  New clients please arrive 15 minutes early to relax, unwind, and fill out new client information forms.

Rescheduling/Cancellation:
I understand that sometimes you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment and unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone's life. As all services are provided by appointment only and this time is reserved for your exclusive use, I must require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment – 48 hours is preferred.  The answering machine is on 24 hours a day; please leave a message if you are unable to keep your appointment.. Because this time is reserved for you, when you break your appointment without appropriate notice, I am not able to fill the empty spot.

If you cancel or reschedule 24 hours or more before your appointment, there will be no charge.  There is a 50% charge for cancellations/reschedules made less than 24 hours in advance and a 100% charge for no-shows.

Clients that cancel twice in a 6-month period without providing a minimum of 24 hours notice will be barred from further appointments unless payment in full (any charge for cancelled appointment(s) and fee for requested appointment) is made prior to the requested appointment.

Late Arrivals:
If you arrive late to your appointment and there is enough time remaining to start a session, the appointment will start ASAP and will end at the originally scheduled time. If I do not have another appointment following your session, I may extend the end time to provide you with the full length of the session. In fairness to other clients, if I do have a session after yours, the appointment will end as scheduled and you will be responsible for the full amount of the session.

If you do not arrive for your appointment during the first 15 minutes (unless you have called), you will be considered a "no-show" and charged accordingly.

Please call if you are running late.

No-shows:
A client who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a "no-show". They will be charged for their "missed" appointment and future service will be denied until payment is made.

Clients that are a no-show twice in a 6-month period will be barred from further appointments unless payment in full (for missed appointment(s) and requested appointment) is made prior to the requested appointment.

Payment:
Payment for sessions is expected at the end of each session. Monthly billing and insurance billing are not available at this time. If at any time you have financial concerns please talk with me. In most cases, financial concerns can be resolved.

Please note I kindly accept the following forms of payment : cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Healing Energy & Relaxation Therapy Gift Certificates.

Returned Check:
Any client whose check is returned and unpaid for any reason will be charged an additional $30 for administrative fees in addition to the amount on the check and bank fees.

Note:
I will review the circumstances of any client’s cancellation/reschedule/no-show/late arrival. Upon review of the circumstances, I reserve the right to modify these policies or refuse future appointments with the client.
